Trading a stock before earning have 2-5% movement. After earning, its either 5-10% up or down depending on the guidance, eps and greed of the big investor. Even if company report good earning it doesn't mean it will rally and neither bad earning means its will fall. The safe way to play earning would be ahead of earning and after earning is reported to catch the up/down movement. Below is the list of stock with more then 10% when they report last earning. Past earning performance doesn't mean it will behave same this quarter but such stocks are very volatile and something to watch.
