Micron Technology (Nasdaq: MU) 11.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.54, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.85 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.9 billion. Sees Q4 Sales of $3.45-$3.7 billion vs the consensus of $4.16 billion.
SYNNEX Corp. (NYSE: SNX) 9.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.55, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.25 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.42 billion. SYNNEX Corp. sees FY2015 EPS of $1.40-$1.45, versus the consensus of $1.67. SYNNEX Corp. sees FY2015 revenue of $3.3-3.4 billion, versus the consensus of $3.53 billion.
Nike (NYSE: NKE) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.98, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.83. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.69 billion. Worldwide futures orders up 2 percent; 13 percent growth excluding currency changes. Consensus estimates called for a 10.4 percent gain in global futures orders.
Vince Holding (NYSE: VNCE) 2.9% HIGHER; announced that Mark Brody has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Brody was most recently Managing Director and Group CFO at Sun Capital Partners, Inc. He replaces Lisa Klinger who resigned from the Company, effective immediately.
Zoetis (NYSE: ZTS) 2.5% HIGHER; Adds to intra-day gains on WSJ reports Valeant Pharma (NYSE:VRX) was said to have made a takeover approach.
Smith & Wesson (NASDAQ: SWHC) 1.7% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $50 million of the company's common stock, from time to time until June 23, 2017.
SanDisk Corp. (Nasdaq: SNDK) 1.5% LOWER; lower on MU numbers
Amicus Therapeutics (Nasdaq: FOLD) 1.4% HIGHER; announced that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has validated the Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) and the Centralized Procedure has begun for the oral small molecule pharmacological chaperone Galafold (migalastat HCl) for Fabry patients who have amenable genetic mutations. Aspreviously announced, Galafold is the first investigational Fabry drug to be granted Accelerated Assessment in the EU. In the U.S., Amicus plans to conduct a pre-NDA meeting with the FDA and to submit a New Drug Application (NDA) for Galafold under Subpart H1 in the second half of 2015. Following the MAA validation, Amicus is also initiating the regulatory submission process in several additional geographies.
